Filipino Festival Stage Structure
June 2026
The 2026 Filipino Festival featured a packed programme of live music, cultural performances, celebrity appearances, and community activities throughout the day, including special guests Piolo Pascual and Arci Muñoz.
BILD delivered a bespoke covered stage structure as part of the wider festival infrastructure, creating the central performance space for live entertainment, cultural performances, announcements, and continuous audience engagement throughout the event. The stage formed the focal point of the festival, combining weather protection, branding, and production functionality within a single integrated structure.

Challenge:
The organisers required a covered performance stage for live music, cultural programming, and announcements at the Filipino Festival, supporting an audience of approximately 3,500 attendees.
The structure needed to function as the main performance platform for the event, with clear audience sightlines, integrated branding, and reliable weather protection for performers, equipment, and production throughout the day.
A secondary covered structure was also required on site to provide additional sheltered space for wider festival activity and audience comfort.
Solution:
BILD delivered a bespoke double-peaked stage canopy structure designed for live festival performance, forming the central focal point of the Filipino Festival.
The stage consisted of a 42m² performance platform (11.5m x 5m), with a 1m stage height and an internal clearance of 3.3m from stage deck to frame, providing a practical working environment for live music, cultural performances, announcements, and production equipment throughout the event.
The structure incorporated a blackout backdrop with branded header and side panel opportunities, creating a strong visual identity while maintaining a clean, functional performance environment. The canopy provided weather protection and supported continuous live programming throughout the day.
A stretch tent structure was also installed on site, rigged from a truss frame, providing additional covered space to support wider festival activity and audience shelter across the venue.
Printed signage was integrated into the installation, with BILD providing guidance and on-site support to ensure clear branding and consistent presentation throughout the event.
The full system was delivered on a 1-day build and 1-day de-rig basis, demonstrating efficient deployment and turnaround of temporary event infrastructure.
